How Do You Reserve The Truck?

Reserving the truck is easy and reservations are based on the order in which requests are received.  Simply call our truck hotline at 307-739-8366 and leave a message requesting the truck, the date you need it and how you are affiliated with our real estate team.  A member of our team will contact you and follow up with paperwork and a time to meet in our office.  Please bring your driver’s license and current proof of insurance with you.  In addition, we do ask for a $10 donation to help alleviate maintenance expenses.

General Guidelines For Using The Jackson Hole Community Truck

• It is a NO SMOKING truck

• You must be 21 years or older to use the truck and have a valid driver’s license

• For your protection and ours, insurance is required. Most auto insurance policies cover rentals. Please check your policy or call your insurance agent prior to the time you need the truck.

• You will pick up a clean truck with a full tank of gas. Return the truck in the same condition. We do require a receipt for the gas when you return the keys.

• Use of the truck is limited to within a 20 mile radius of JH, unless you have prior authorization from our team. Please do not take the truck over the pass or outside Jackson limits.

• Please be courteous to others using the truck. Pick up and return the truck promptly as scheduled.

• Insurance does not cover theft of valuables in the truck. Please keep your valuables locked at all times. We will not be responsible for personal items lost, stolen, or damaged.

• Operate the truck responsibly. We will not be responsible for careless actions of the driver.

• Use caution with the height of the truck. It’s 10’6”, with a box length of 14’. Be cautious of low overhead structures such as awnings, canopies, garages, power lines, etc.  Also, the turning radius is much wider. DO NOT pull into Sotheby’s drive through parking lot. When possible, have someone assist you when operating in reverse.

• Return the truck to the location you picked it up from. Be sure all lights are off, and make sure to include headlights and dome lights in the box and cab. Lock the vehicle and return the keys to our office. Our office hours are: Monday-Friday 8-6 and Saturdays and Sundays 10-5.

• If there is an emergency such as towing, flat tire change, fuel delivery, jump starts or lock out assistance -  please call Ford Roadside Assistance at 1-800-241-3673.

• If the truck is in an accident, we request you notify us at 413-5242 or 413-5243.

• To report the accident, please use one of the following numbers: 
o 911
o Wyoming Highway Patrol – 800-442-9090
o Police Dispatch for Teton County – 307-733-2331
